Non-Profit Women’s Counseling Center – Privacy Policy

In accordance with Section 13 of the Privacy Protection Law, 1981, the “Women’s Counseling Center” Non-Profit (hereinafter: “the Non-Profit”) is committed to respecting the privacy of users and visitors of the website and views the protection of your privacy as part of its feminist and professional values. The Non-Profit undertakes to safeguard the personal information provided to it and to act with transparency and care at every stage of handling inquiries.

Information Collection

If you wish to contact us to receive emotional support within the Non-Profit, you will be asked to provide basic personal details, including:

Phone number
Email address
Reason for inquiry

Providing these details is done voluntarily and with your consent. You are under no legal obligation to provide any personal information. However, without providing the information, you will not be able to receive services offered by the Non-Profit.

The Information Database and Its Use

The data collected about the user, as detailed above, is stored in the Non-Profit’s
information database. The Non-Profit undertakes to use this information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and/or any applicable law, and for the following purposes:

Contacting the inquirer for a personal conversation and assessing suitability
for treatment.
Assigning an appropriate therapist as needed.
Internal management and improvement of the services provided by the Non-
Profit.
Contacting you regarding participation in conferences/lectures/training sessions provided by the Non-Profit.
Contacting you regarding participation in online and offline support groups
facilitated by the Non-Profit.
Contacting you regarding donations to the Non-Profit.

The Non-Profit does not transfer personal information to third parties, except in the
following cases:

To fulfill the purposes listed above, we use service providers such as cloud computing platforms and hosting providers (in Israel or abroad), and information systems providers;
As required or permitted by law, by order of an authorized authority, or for legal protection.

Information Retention

We will retain the information for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy or for the period required by law.

Information Security and User Rights

The Non-Profit employs appropriate security measures to protect personal information. However, such measures can never provide absolute protection. Therefore, we do not guarantee that the services will be completely immune to unauthorized access or misuse of stored information. Any inquirer is entitled to request access to the information collected about her and to request its correction in accordance with the law.
