Mid-Year Snapshot 2026

The first half of 2026 has continued to test the resilience of women across Israel.  Ongoing war, repeated security escalations, and prolonged uncertainty have  significantly increased the demand for mental health services. Throughout these  extraordinary months, CCW has remained committed to providing accessible, high

quality psychotherapy while supporting our dedicated clinical team. Why CCW Matters

Since 1988, CCW has been dedicated to providing accessible, professional  psychotherapy for women, advancing feminist, gender-sensitive clinical practice, and  strengthening the knowledge and skills of mental health professionals working with  women. Today, more than ever, we remain committed to ensuring that women can  access high-quality mental health care during a time of prolonged conflict and  uncertainty.

Highlights from the First Half of 2026

Supporting Women

  • Over 200 women received subsidized individual psychotherapy across CCW’s  branches and satellite clinics.
  • Despite the challenging timing due to the war with Iran, we have successfully launched our first pilot support group in Jerusalem, “The Second Shift: Empowering  Women Caring for Aging Loved Ones,” designed for women who are caring for aging  parents. Participants reported meaningful emotional support and practical coping  tools. We are grateful to our partners at the Women of Vision of the Jewish  Foundation of Greater New Haven for supporting part of this project.

Supporting Our Clinical Team

  • Our therapists completed a professional workshop on sexuality and psychotherapy  for survivors of sexual trauma, generously supported by the Gandyr Foundation. Marathon 2026: A two-day professional retreat held in February, bringing together

CCW therapists. This year, we focused on in-depth discussions of feminist  psychotherapy during wartime, sharing clinical knowledge and strengthening  resilience.

  • Continued integration of EMDR therapy into our clinical work, expanding evidence based treatment for women coping with trauma.

Strengthening Our Community

  • Coming Together – A Conversation with CCW (July 12, 2026): Our annual Town Hall  brought together friends, donors, and supporters from around the world to hear  about the evolving mental health needs of women in Israel and CCW’s ongoing  response. Watch the recording
